HAPPY NEW YEAR

2008 is here! Are you ready for a year of New Beginnings? I am, and new things have already begun to take place. There is much on the horizon and I cannot wait to fill you in on all that is taking place in my life. My website is almost complete and it amazes me every time we take a look at it. I think you will love it just as much as I do. The book, we pray will still come out sometime in Spring. I know you are going to love it! In the meantime, I am getting geared up for speaking engagements and travel. I want to take this year to really share my story and be able to affect change in the lives of people. I pray that you will continue to read this blog, share with me your thoughts and give me some input as to what you think we might need to do in order to get some more people on here. But for now, walk into this new year with great expectation, knowing our God has so much in store for us.

Biography

Elder Alex Pineda’s road to destiny had been filled with obstacles since birth. A native of Hoboken, New Jersey, Alex was labeled a ward of the state throughout his childhood and plagued by drug and alcohol addiction during his adolescence. Nonetheless, in 1995 God chose him, delivered him and set him free from self-destruction. God’s love introduced him to his preordained purpose which was to minister to the lost, misunderstood and abandoned.

On March 12, 2006, Alexander was ordained as a “Minister” at the True Servant Worship & Praise Church in Hamilton, New Jersey under the auspices of Bishop E. Earl Jenkins. A mentor to both young and adult men, Elder Pineda has influenced thousands of lives speaking at venues ranging from High Schools through college level. He has also spoken to the Black Caucus Legislative Foundation. Alex leads a men’s support group to inspire “Self Love for Self Control”. He is on fire to win souls.

Proverbs 18:16 tells us “A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.” Elder Pineda has a true gift in poetry, preaching and teaching God’s Word with emphasis on the power and LOVE of Jesus Christ.

He is the author of the up coming book entitled, “Married to the Promise”, which details his journey from drug and alcohol addiction to living a life for Christ and finding his soul mate, Carolyn Jenkins-Pineda, a 23 year Aids survivor who went home to be with the Lord in September 2006. Alex and Carolyn’s ministry, Y?A.S.K.U.S has helped lives all across the world, helping those who suffer or have suffered with any manner of disease.

Elder Pineda is the owner of “Attention to Detail,” a home décor and improvement company where he provides a service of excellence.

Currently Elder Pineda is picking up where he and Carolyn’s ministry left off and he is taking his message of the promise, love and holiness across the world. His ministry is growing in Africa, The Islands and throughout the United States. Elder Pineda resides in Florence, New Jersey. He is a proud father to Iesha Jenkins-Peoples and grandfather to two beautiful girls, Khyturah and Egypt.
